I know Nigel Burch, who's been banned from busking

Thinking about the above. The Hammond organ. Now that`s inappropriate for busking on the tube.

I can symapthise with the 'undesirable instrument' policy though; every time I take the Paris Metro I resurface with a real hatred for those accordion things. And who wouldn't want to see bagpipes banned? They have no place in civilised society!

There was a chap who used to play the bagpipes in Glastonbury high street on winter mornings shrouded in mist , dressed in kilt and sporran - it could make the hairs on the back of yer neck stand up - Och Aye !

It's hard to think of an 'undesirable instrument' it all depends on what's being expressed upon it.

How could I agree more.

I did see a bloke playing Rolling Stones tracks on an accordian yesterday though, he was pretty good. He's the first busker I've seen in years.

Actually, going back to the original topic of this thread, not exactly me, but my friend used to know Harold Shipman. Shipman was his dad's doctor and used to visit his house regualarly to administer medication.

He said he used to have a cup of tea with his mom and his mom wanted him to be her doctor, she thought he was a lovely man. She's still alive so that didn't happen.

My friend said they used to call him Dr. Death long before his activities were revealed, everyone noticed the mortality rate amongst his patients was on the high side.

There was me and the Hong Kong Handover in '97, I suppose...

Though I suppose, what with 'news' being short for 'new things', that is more 'olds'

Forget I mentioned it

Were you in York by any chance? I saw a busker playing 'Jumping Jack Flash' on an accordian there yesterday.
